my life as sharing..: Tips on how to study accounting effectively
here are some of the tips conveyed to us during one of the seminars held in school..
I am 27, male. I don’t know why but I only know music, I just keep singing or lip-syncing and love it. Even when a song just starts playing (the intro music), I immediately spot it by the beats and music. I can also figure out the singer/artist/band most of the times. I sing quite well but obviously not like good vocalists and when it comes to high pitch, it does me in. When I play guitar, I cannot use my 3rd & 4th finger effectively, so manage with the index and middle one. I play mostly the lyrics part and not rhythm, but I don’t play it often even though I like it and do only on my own without any training.
I am a CPA with 5 years of XP but it is not going my way. I never had much interest in studies and my brain I believe is not that sharp. I was good at Maths and accounts in school but this corporate world has some level, I never understand the acquisitions, share-exchange scheme, all financial reporting standards and the auditing standards, etc. I have a job right now but it sucks. It will never lead me anywhere. I am trying hard to change it but nothing is working. I am earning decently though but it is never my priority.
I am crossroads and in a dilemma. My CPA career is almost over, and I am looking forward to GMAT-MBA otherwise.
Should I concentrate on music’ In that case, how can I move further, like making a band or taking some serious music lessons’
