I asked a question a few days ago about finding god and talking about it with my parents, but I forgot the name I had for that account (I made a new one to ask that question) so here I am again.
I was a raised in a sort of agnostic family, I will be 18 in a few months and after a lot of soul searching I found god and realized the place for Him in my heart and life. My parents will probably think i’m weird and won’t understand, but I know that there is a God and that Jesus died on the cross to save me. I want to live my life like Jesus did and become a better person through Him. I want to study the bible and talk about God with like minded people.
The problem is, I don’t really go to a church. I am going to start soon though. I took a quiz to see which denomination of Christianity is best for me, and I got Episcopalian. However, I feel like Catholicism is probably the closest to what Jesus actually preached. I am also interested in 7th Day adventism because I am a vegetarian and I like that aspect of it.
Other than that, I am not very sure. I am trying to let God guide me, and I keep coming back to Catholicism.
